Christmas in July

I know, I know I'm sure you're all thinking I'm pretty bonkers... But I'm a crazy organised crafter who starts a Christmas Club in July and people come along each month and make 8 cards, at the end of the 6 months everyone has 48 cards ready to post... so that's what inspired my first challenge - I hope you enjoy playing along and see the method in my madness if you make no more now until November - you at least have I less to make ...

Midweek Motivation - Create a Summer Scene

Hello all - we have a super challenge running this week for you, it's all about creating a Summer Scene. Now that could be summer meadows, hillsides or even seaside images - here's my piece of inspiration for you today

This scene is simply sponged with ink to create the background - torn copy paper makes a great mask for hills and mountains - don't forget to make one for the sun (if you can remember what it looks like!). Trees have also been added and then flowers in the foreground. I always think of balloons in the summer so I added one of those too along with a flock of birds.

Purple Midweek Motivation

Hi folks it's me Jacqueline standing in for Caz this week with the Midweek Motivation. Today I have a sympathy card following our challenge SHADES OF PURPLE AND ONE NEUTRAL - take a look

I made a mask for the centre through which I sponged my purple ink, I then used a couple of silhouette stamps in a darker shade. The flowers were stamped in Versamark ink and then heat embossed with white embossing powder. The card stock was mounted on to purple card and stamped with a sentiment.
