MMM - Week 52

Welcome to a new month at Make My Monday!  We're so happy to see you all here!  This month, our hostess is Jacqueline, our fearless leader!  She has chosen the theme of 

JUNE AND ASSOCIATED EVENTS 

as her monthly theme with some very lovely weekly themes!  This month, she'd like to see a

BIRTHDAY CARD WITH PEARLS.

Pearls are June's birthstone, so this combo is most fitting, isn't it?  It's ESPECIALLY fitting because dear Jacqueline's Birthday is this coming Sunday, June 10th AND this challenge is our 1 year anniversary as a challenge! :)  Let's look at what the team has come up with!

MMM - Mid-week Motivation - Green, Pink & White

This is the last week of our floral theme and we have ended it with a gorgeous colour combination for you

The card I have to show you today uses the masking technique along with some two step stamping. Here is the card and then I will explain what I did.

The green polka dot label was stamped first onto the card and then again onto a post it note. The one on the post it note was cut out and placed on top of the one on the card - it was then safe to add my roses around the edge - take a look

This is what it looks like when I removed the post it note

My roses are two stamps - the first solid stamp is inked up with a very light ink and then the second stamp adds some darker detail - I cut out some of these roses

These then had some 3D foam pads added and then were attached to the card.

MMM - Mid-week Motivation - Wild Flowers & Grasses

Morning all and welcome to this week's Mid-week Motivation - I have some poppies to share with you today - take a look

The poppies were made by stamping the image onto vellum with Versamark ink and embossing with black embossing powder. They were then cut out and attached to the card with clear gloss adhesive.
The large image of grasses is from Crafty Individuals.
You may have seen in the side bar that we now have a Facebook page - keep an eye on it as we may post more dt samples there from time to time or other information.
