Midweek Motivation - Create a Summer Scene

Hello all - we have a super challenge running this week for you, it's all about creating a Summer Scene. Now that could be summer meadows, hillsides or even seaside images - here's my piece of inspiration for you today

This scene is simply sponged with ink to create the background - torn copy paper makes a great mask for hills and mountains - don't forget to make one for the sun (if you can remember what it looks like!). Trees have also been added and then flowers in the foreground. I always think of balloons in the summer so I added one of those too along with a flock of birds.

Morning all - Jacqueline here with a brand new challenge. When I decided on the theme for this challenge I imagined that we would all be having summer fun and enjoying warm sunny days - how wrong could I be?! Well lets all cheer ourselves up by creating some

Purple Midweek Motivation

Hi folks it's me Jacqueline standing in for Caz this week with the Midweek Motivation. Today I have a sympathy card following our challenge SHADES OF PURPLE AND ONE NEUTRAL - take a look

I made a mask for the centre through which I sponged my purple ink, I then used a couple of silhouette stamps in a darker shade. The flowers were stamped in Versamark ink and then heat embossed with white embossing powder. The card stock was mounted on to purple card and stamped with a sentiment.

Midweek Motivation - CAS Flowers

We are having a Clean and Simple week with Flowers - that means nice, cleanly cut mats and layers, clear, crisp stamping and not too many embellishments. No ripping and tearing, no distressed edges and no sponging please.
We would also like to keep the emphasis on flowers so no other images please (you may include a sentiment!)
That all being said here is my inspiration piece for this week's Midweek Motivation

This is a twisted easel card - the main image is one single stamp coloured with markers to depict Welsh Poppies. The smaller image is the same stamp - it has just had the one section of flowers inked and stamped.

Hi everyone, hope all the UK people are enjoying this fantastic weather and I hope it's weather friendly wherever you are.
 My MWM card this morning is , a quick, pretty card... hope you like it and are inspired to join in with the challenge.

I was hoping you could see the delicate shading on her face and neck but it's quite difficult to see. She's very pretty though don't you think?

 The base card started life like this.

I find these scallop cards quite tricky to use ... so when I need a larger card I just chop off the edges. The envelope ends up being a bit too large but hey! it means there's room for the embellishments!
