This is the last week of our floral theme and we have ended it with a gorgeous colour combination for you
The card I have to show you today uses the masking technique along with some two step stamping. Here is the card and then I will explain what I did.
The green polka dot label was stamped first onto the card and then again onto a post it note. The one on the post it note was cut out and placed on top of the one on the card - it was then safe to add my roses around the edge - take a look
This is what it looks like when I removed the post it note
My roses are two stamps - the first solid stamp is inked up with a very light ink and then the second stamp adds some darker detail - I cut out some of these roses
These then had some 3D foam pads added and then were attached to the card.
Hope this inspires you to have a go in our challenge this week - all the details can be found HERE

MMM - Mid-week Motivation - Wild Flowers & Grasses
Morning all and welcome to this week's Mid-week Motivation - I have some poppies to share with you today - take a look
The poppies were made by stamping the image onto vellum with Versamark ink and embossing with black embossing powder. They were then cut out and attached to the card with clear gloss adhesive.
The large image of grasses is from Crafty Individuals.
You may have seen in the side bar that we now have a Facebook page - keep an eye on it as we may post more dt samples there from time to time or other information.

MMM - Mid-week Motivation - Flowers and Music.
A late post as I have struggled with this one, it started in my head totally different to what I wanted to achieve but anyway here's today's piece to inspire you.
After making Monday's card I had a few scraps of the music paper which I used to make my flower
I also used a technique called Velveteen Stamping when I stamped my images
Mynnette from the design team has a fab tutorial on how to do this on her Technique Tuesday blog HERE please pop over if you'd like to have a go.

MMM - Mid-week Motivation - White Flowers
Mid-week Motivation took a little break through April but it's back now and I have a card hopefully to inspire you to take part in this week's challenge.
My white flowers have been stamped onto coloured card stock and then heat embossed with white embossing powder.
This has been done with a solid image stamp however you can achieve a similar effect by stamping with a white pigment ink pad and colouring in with a white gel pen - this looks great on Kraft card stock.
