Our challenge this week is Flourishes and Diamonds - after all they are a girl's best friend. Well my card for you today encompasses more than just diamonds 'cos as we all know diamonds are very difficult to come by (thank goodness for QVC!!) and I have included such delights as shopping, handbags, shoes, cocktails and cake.
Also fresh from a craft class I attended last night I decided to make a Neverending Card - take a look
This is the front of the card with the cocktails and a few hearts and flourishes. There is a centre opening and the sides fold out and round to show the next part of the card
Now we come to the cake and a glimpse of some shoes. By the way all my stamps come from various sets from Studio G - they are very tiny sets that I got from my local craft shop for around 99p. This time the card opens horizontally - up, over and down.......
...... revealing the handbags to match the shoes. The card alternates vertical openings followed by horizontal openings and this time we open vertically to reveal the back of the card and a picture of we girls do best!
Finally the card opens back out to the front of card ready to start again.
Last night at the craft club we had templates to work from and I believe that Papermania make kits with pre-scored pieces of card stock for you to make this style of card, however I have found a video tutorial on Youtube here if you would like to have a go at making one yourself - enjoy!

Mid-week Motivation - Vintage Spring Card
Hi all - it's mid-week motivation time and here is a little reminder of this week's challenge
I have another card for you today - it's very similar to Monday's card but using some very fancy folds and turning them into a Spring Card. Take a look
Here is how I made it
1) Take a piece of card stock 101/2" x 51/4".
2) Fold in half.
3) Open again so that the fold in the middle is vertical. Fold the right hand edge into the middle so that it meets the middle fold.
4) Open your card stock again and lay it flat. Now take the bottom left hand corner and fold the card up as in the diagram. The bottom edge should lie against the fold made in step 3.
Open your card and repeat the process with the top left hand corner.
5) Your card stock now look like this.
6) Mark the centre point on the left hand vertical edge and then cut from this point down to the start of the first score lines - like in the photograph.
When folded up the finished card looks like this from the front,
and like this from the back.
For details on how to decorate please pop over to my blog here.
Tip: you may wish to bookmark this post or perhaps have a little practice - you never know when we might 'spring' a surprise on you!!
